Les Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.1.1 Hotfix sont disponibles en téléchargement, bilan

AMD met en ligne un Hotfix de ses pilotes graphiques Radeon Software Crimson. Estampillés 16.1.1, ils apportent pas mal de corrections et s’accompagnent de profil Crossfire pour le jeu Fallout 4.

Radeon Software Crimson

Une nouvelle version des Radeon Graphics Crimson, à savoir les Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.1.1 Hotfix sont disponibles en téléchargement. Il s’agit d’un correctif avec à la clé pas mal de choses afin d’améliorer les performances et la qualité du rendu.

Le fichier de version fait mention de solutions autour des textures manquantes dans Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, de l’écran de chargement sombre dans Mordheim: City of the Damned ou encore des défauts de rendu du ciel Star Wars: Battlefront. A cela s’ajoute des résolutions d’autres bugs comme les soucis de scintillements dans Dota 2, les modifications de paramètres graphiques (en Ultra High) dans Battlefield Hardline et les lignes noires dans Game of Thrones.

Cette mise à jour apporte des solutions autour des systèmes multi-écrans et améliore la fonctionnalité OverDrive sur le calibrage de la fréquence du GPU secondaire. Elle résout les bugs à l’origine d’une réinitialisation des profils personnalisés de jeu après un redémarrage, une lecture vidéo corrompue avec des fichiers au format M2TS ou encore une perte du signal audio HDMI lorsque l’écran passe en mode veille.

Il est nécessaire de vérifier que la version précédente des pilotes est installée sur votre PC. Un fois le téléchargement terminé, lancer l’installation et suivre les instructions affichées à l’écran pour une mise à jour complète. Il est conseillé de redémarrer sa machine une fois l’installation terminée.

– [81915] Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – Building textures may be missing on some AMD Freesync displays with VSync enabled
– [82892] Display corruption may occur on systems with multiple display systems when they have been left idle for some time
– [82926] Mordheim: City of the Damned – some loading screens may be very dark
– [83032] Star Wars: Battlefront – The sky rendering may be corrupted in some situations
– [83832] Radeon Settings – AMD OverDrive Power setting changes on the secondary GPU are not immediately displayed. This is seen only on dual GPU graphics cards, such as the AMD Radeon HD 7990 and Radeon R9 295×2
– [83833] Radeon Settings – AMD OverDrive clock gauge needles for the secondary GPU may be in wrong position when the system is idle and the secondary GPU is inactive
– [83839] Some games may experience brightness flickering with AMD FreeSync enabled
– [83940] AMD Radeon Additional Settings window will close if the help button is pressed on Japanese/Korean language setups
– [83948] Corruption seen in video playback for M2TS format files via Windows 10 Movie & TV application
– [84199] Flickering textures experienced in Dota 2 when accessing the “Heroes” menu
– [84428] Battlefield Hardline – A crash may occur when changing graphics settings from “Ultra” to “High” during gameplay
– [85030] The screen may turn dark and colors may be corrupted after installing the driver on some AMD Crossfire setups

– This driver is not intended for use on AMD products running in Apple Boot Camp platforms. Users of these platforms should contact their system manufacturer for driver support.
– When installing the AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.1.1 Hotfix Driver for the Windows operating system, the user must be logged on as Administrator, or have Administrator rights to complete the installation of the AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.1.1 Hotfix Driver.
– The AMD Radeon Software Crimson Edition 16.1.1 Hotfix Driver requires Windows 7 Service Pack 1 to be installed.

Known Issues:

– [59349] Far Cry 4 – Stuttering may be observed when launching the game with AMD Freesync and AMD Crossfire enabled. A temporary workaround is to disable either feature
– [78168] Flickering may be observed while task switching with AMD Freesync enabled
– [82213] Star Wars: Battlefront – Some users may experience minor flickering or corruption at different game location or while viewing the in-game cinematics
– [82387] A few game titles may fail to launch or crash if the Gaming Evolved overlay is enabled. A temporary workaround is to disable the AMD Gaming Evolved “In Game Overlay”
– [83031] Star Wars: Battlefront – Corrupted ground textures may be observed in the Survival of Hoth mission
– [83287] Game stuttering may be experienced when running two AMD Radeon R9 295X2 graphics cards in AMD CrossFire mode
– [83840] Assassin’s Creed Syndicate – Corruption may be experienced if game is launched with AMD Freesync enabled. A temporary workaround is to disable AMD Freesync

– [85412] Fallout 4 –Thumbnails may flicker or disappear while scrolling the Perk levels page
– [85559] Rise of the Tomb Raider – Game may intermittently crash or hang when launched with very high settings and AA is set to SMAA at 4K resolution
– [85518]/[85693] Rise of the Tomb Raider – Flickering may be experienced at various game locations when the game is left idle in AMD Crossfire mode under Windows 7. A temporary workaround is to restart the game or disable AMD Crossfire
– [85647] Star Wars: Battlefront – Flickering seen on the textured bar on battle/tutorial loading screen

How-To Uninstall AMD Radeon Software:

– Start by opening the Control Panel
– For Windows 10/8.1, right-click on the Windows button and select Control Panel from the Context Menu
– For Windows 7, click on the Windows button and select Control Panel from the Start Menu
– In the Control Panel select Programs and Features
– Select AMD Install Manager and then click Uninstall/Change
– Check all items, and then click the Uninstall button.
Note: If you had others versions of AMD drivers installed previously, you should get an additional prompt providing the options to remove All Versions or Current Version.
– Select All Versions to remove all AMD drivers and application components (recommended).
– Select Current Version will uninstall only the latest version of the drivers and its related components.
– The uninstall process will begin removing drivers and software components.
– Select Restart Now to complete the uninstallation process.
– To verify that the AMD Radeon Software has been removed from the system, return to the Program and Features list, and check that there are no AMD entries. If AMD specific entries are still listed, remove them using the above process.

How-To Install AMD Radeon Software:

– Ensure that any existing versions of AMD Radeon Software on the system have been uninstalled before proceeding with installing a new driver.
– Close all opened applications including anti-virus, firewall, remote-access, or webcam software before attempting the install process.
– Double-click the downloaded file and select Install to begin file extraction process.
Note: It is recommended to use the default destination folder for installation.
– Select the desired components or keep default selection (recommended) and click Install.
– The drivers and software components will begin installing.
Note: The screen will flicker whilst the AMD Radeon Software is being installed. If you have multiple displays, some of them may turn black for a few seconds.
– Once the drivers and software have been successfully installed, choose Restart Now
Note: A system restart is required to complete the installation process.
