Microsoft vient de déployer de nouvelles mises à jour cumulatives pour Windows 10 dont KB4013429. Ce correctif s’adresse à la version Anniversary Update proposée par Microsoft depuis le mois d’aout 2016.
Windows 10 Anniversary Update est aujourd’hui présent sur 80% des machines exploitant Windows 10. Ce chiffre explique que KB4013429 est jugée « critique » pour le géant du logiciel.

KB4013429 se concentre exclusivement sur la sécurité, il n’y a donc pas de nouvelle fonctionnalité. Son contenu tourne autour de plusieurs correctifs proposés dans le cadre du Patch Thuesday de mars 2016. En réalité, les correctifs sont nombreux car Microsoft incorpore ceux de février 2017. Ils n’ont malheureusement pas été publiés en temps et en heure en raison de l’annulation de Patch Tuesday.
Nous retrouvons une correction concernant une mise à jour cumulative précédente, à savoir KB3213986. Selon Microsoft, elle est à l’origine de soucis autour du service « clusters ». En clair une fois son installation terminée, le PC n’arrive pas à redémarrer automatique lors de sa première tentative.
A cela s’ajoute une « tonne » de corrections de bug dont plusieurs corrigent des problèmes engendrés par d’anciennes mises à jour cumulatives, citons une défaillance d’Internet Explorer après l’installation de KB3175443 et des erreurs du moteur VBScript suite à l’arrivée de KB3185319.

En parallèle, la firme apporte des corrections pour plusieurs applications. Ceci concerne Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Graphics Component, Internet Information Services, Windows SMB Server, Microsoft Windows PDF Library, Windows kernel-mode drivers, Microsoft Uniscribe, Windows kernel, DirectShow, Windows et Windows Hyper-V.
Pour le moment, il n’y a pas de retour négatif concernant l’installation. Espérons que la situation perdure.
