Microsoft déploie à l’occasion du Patch Tuesday de juin 2019 la mise à jour KB4503327 pour les PC sous Windows 10 v1809. Elle corrige des bugs et s’attaque à plusieurs failles de sécurité. Nous avons aussi trois problèmes connus et non corrigés.
L’installation de KB4503327 permet au système d’exploitation d’évoluer en version 17763.557. Ce numéro est important car il permet de s’assurer que l’installation s’est déroulée avec succès. Vous pouvez le vérifier avec le commande « winver.exe » à lancer dans Exécuter (WIN+R).
Microsoft annonce avoir résolu un souci susceptible d’empêcher un rendu correct du clavier avec certaines applications Windows Mixed Reality. En parallèle un correctif empêche les connexions non sécurisées ou utilisant des clés connues pour chiffrer les connexions entre des périphériques Bluetooth et Windows. Microsoft explique
“Si l’événement 22 BTHUSB dans l’observateur d’événements indique: «Votre périphérique Bluetooth a tenté d’établir une connexion de débogage….», votre système est concerné. Contactez le fabricant de votre périphérique Bluetooth pour déterminer s’il existe une mise à jour.”
A cela s’ajoute un patch pour corriger un bug empêchant PXE (Preboot Execution Environment) de démarrer un périphérique à partir d’un serveur WDS (Windows Deployment Services) configuré pour utiliser l’extension de fenêtre variable.
Microsoft annonce une mise à jour du Firmware Broadcom Wi-Fi pour le casque HoloLens et un correctif pour Internet Explorer 11. Il s’attaque à un plantage au démarrage si le moteur de recherche n’est pas ou mal renseigné.
Enfin nous avons plusieurs correctifs de sécurité visant les navigateurs Internet Explorer et Microsoft Edge mais également certains composants de Windows 10. Citons le moteur Microsoft Scripting, Windows App Platform et Frameworks, Windows Input et Composition, Windows Media, Windows Shell, Windows Server, Windows Authentication, Windows Cryptography, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Storage et Filesystems, Windows SQL components, le moteur Microsoft JET Database, Windows Virtualization, le noyau Windows et Internet Information Services.
KB4503327 s’accompagne malheureusement de trois problèmes connus et non corrigés. Tous les détails sont disponibles en fin d’articles. L’un d’eux est un problème d’impression avec le navigateur Microsoft Edge ou d’autres applications UWP (Universal Windows Platform). Le message d’erreur suivant peut s’afficher: “Votre imprimante a rencontré un problème de configuration inattendu. 0x80070007e.”. Il n’y a pas de solution de contournement. Microsoft conseille de changer de navigateur.

This update includes quality improvements. Key changes include:
- Addresses an issue that may prevent the Windows Mixed Reality keyboard from rendering correctly in some applications.
- Addresses a security vulnerability by intentionally preventing connections between Windows and Bluetooth devices that are not secure and use well-known keys to encrypt connections, including security fobs. If BTHUSB Event 22 in the Event Viewer states, “Your Bluetooth device attempted to establish a debug connection….”, then your system is affected. Contact your Bluetooth device manufacturer to determine if a device update exists. For more information, see CVE-2019-2102 and KB4507623.
- Addresses an issue that may prevent the Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) from starting a device from a Windows Deployment Services (WDS) server configured to use Variable Window Extension. This may cause the connection to the WDS server to terminate prematurely while downloading the image. This issue does not affect clients or devices that are not using Variable Window Extension.
- Adds updated Broadcom Wi-Fi firmware to Microsoft HoloLens. For more information, see Advisory 190016.
- Addresses an issue that may prevent Internet Explorer 11 from opening if the Default Search Provider is not set or is malformed.
- Security updates to Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Media, Windows Shell, Windows Server, Windows Authentication, Windows Cryptography, Windows Datacenter Networking, Windows Storage and Filesystems, Windows SQL components, the Microsoft JET Database Engine, Windows Virtualization, Windows Kernel, and Internet Information Services.
