Intel publie de nouveaux pilotes graphiques, les Intel Arc Graphics 32.0.101.8824 pour Windows. En version bêta ils visent les solutions Arc A-Series, Arc B-Series et les processeurs Intel Core Ultra équipés d’un GPU Intel Arc intégré.
La principale nouveauté concerne le support “Game On” pour 007 First Light, le nouveau jeu d’IO Interactive autour de James Bond. Ces drivers sont donc pensé pour améliorer la compatibilité et l’expérience de lancement sur les machines équipées d’un GPU Arc, qu’il s’agisse d’une carte graphique dédiée ou d’un iGPU.
Les notes de version signalent encore plusieurs problèmes connus. Certains jeux peuvent rencontrer des plantages ou des corruptions graphiques sur des GPU Arc ou des iGPU Core Ultra. Intel cite notamment Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Warzone, PRAGMATA, Resident Evil Requiem, Monster Hunter Wilds, HITMAN World of Assassination et Street Fighter 6 selon les familles de GPU concernées.
Le cas du Frame Generation est également à surveiller. Intel indique que certains jeux peuvent présenter du tearing visuel lorsque cette fonction est utilisée avec les iGPU Arc des Core Ultra Series 3. Si vous êtes concernés une solution est d’activer la synchronisation verticale dans les paramètres du jeu.

Faut-il installer le pilote Intel Arc 32.0.101.8824 ?
Si vous avez craqué pour 007 First Light, l’installation se justifie. C’est le principal apport de cette version. Dans le cas contraire et si votre PC est stable avec un pilote WHQL, il n’est pas indispensable de se précipiter sur cette version bêta. Les notes de version mentionnent encore plusieurs bugs connus, et certains retours communautaires signalent des problèmes persistants.
