AMD a mis en ligne de nouveaux pilotes graphiques, les Software Adrenalin 25.3.1. Le programme est chargé avec des nouveaux GPU pris en charge, des optimisations de performances et des corrections de bugs. Voici les faits les plus marquants de ces drivers graphiques.
Ces nouveaux drivers graphiques assurent la prise en charge des Radeon RX 9070 XT, RX 9070, et RX 7650 GRE mais aussi les iGPUs ( Radeon 850M et 860M) équipant les Ryzen AI Max+ 395, Ryzen AI 5 PRO 340 et Ryzen AI 7 PRO 350 sans oublier la série des Ryzen 9 9955HX et 9850HX (Radeon intégrés) ainsique le 9955HX3D.
FSR 4 et améliorations graphiques
L’une des annonces majeures concerne le FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 (FSR 4), exclusif aux cartes graphiques Radeon RX 9000 RDNA 4. Cette technologie repose sur un nouvel algorithme basé sur l’IA, améliorant la mise à l’échelle et la qualité d’image. Plus de 30 jeux bénéficieront d’une mise à jour automatique via AMD Software : Adrenalin Edition pour exploiter le FSR 4.
AMD améliore également le Fluid Motion Frames 2.1, qui réduit les artefacts visuels et optimise le suivi temporel, rendant l’expérience de jeu plus fluide. Cette mise à jour s’applique aux Radeon RX 6000, 7000 et 9070 series, ainsi qu’aux processeurs Ryzen AI 300.
AMD renforce ses outils IA avec AMD Chat, un chatbot local accéléré par GPU, capable de répondre aux questions sur le matériel AMD et d’activer les fonctionnalités de Adrenalin Edition. De son coté l’Image Inspector est un autre outil qui exploite l’IA pour capturer des données de diagnostic et améliorer la qualité graphique dans les jeux. Autre nouveauté, le Gestionnaire d’installation, qui permet de garder les pilotes et logiciels AMD à jour en continu.
Des améliorations pour la productivité et le développement
AMD a également annoncé une prise en charge améliorée de l’IA sous Windows avec la compatibilité de ROCm sur WSL 2, permettant d’exécuter des modèles d’IA comme Llama 3 8B et Stable Diffusion 3 directement sous Windows, sans passer par un système Linux dédié.
L’éditeur met aussi à jour ses outils pour développeurs avec une nouvelle architecture ISA RDNA 4 et RDNA 3.5, une version open-source du SDK Advanced Interactive Streaming (AIS), et des mises à jour pour Radeon Developer Tool Suite (RDTS), qui inclut désormais Driver Experiments, un outil de réglage avancé du pilote graphique.
Enfin ces pilotes améliorent HYPR-RX avec une compatibilité élargie pour HYPR-Tune, permettant d’activer automatiquement FidelityFX Super Resolution et Radeon Anti-Lag 2 dans plusieurs nouveaux jeux, dont S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, Silent Hill 2 et Simulateur d’agriculture 25.
De plus, la compatibilité Vulkan a été étendue avec l’extension VK_EXT_depth_clamp_control pour une meilleure gestion du rendu 3D.
Correction de bugs et optimisation des performances
AMD a résolu aussi plusieurs problèmes majeurs affectant certaines applications et jeux :
- OBS Studio : Correction d’un bug lié à l’encodage HEVC lors de l’utilisation de Twitch Enhanced Broadcasting.
- Warhammer 40,000 : Space Marine 2 : Résolution des crashs sur certains Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.
- Delta Force : Amélioration des performances sur Radeon RX série 7000.
- Marvel Rivals : Correction du bégaiement lors de l’utilisation de FidelityFX Super Resolution 3.
Concernant l’IA il est promis des amélioration des performances avec les Radeon RX 7000 series.

Known Issues
- Intermittent crash of AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition™ may be observed while playing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 or Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart with AMD Image Inspector enabled. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to disable AMD Image Inspector as a temporary workaround.
- Lower than expected performance may be observed when using YouTube on the Microsoft Edge web browser immediately after a driver install. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to restart Microsoft Edge and relaunch YouTube as a temporary workaround.
- 3rd party tools that rely on our ADL SDK for detecting ROPs count will incorrectly report 64 ROPs, and we are looking to address this in a driver update post launch.
- Incorrect gamma is exhibited while playing Counter-Strike 2 and using MSAA x8 on Radeon™ RX 9070 series graphics products.
- AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition™ may not accurately report AMD FSR 4 enablement for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
- Lower than expected performance may be observed while playing Assetto Corsa Competizione on Radeon™ RX 9000 series graphics products.
- Intermittent application crash may be observed in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle when settings are set to “Very Ultra” quality and Path Tracing is enabled. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to use the default Ray Tracing settings as a temporary workaround.
- After using the AMD Cleanup Utility for Windows®, the AMD Bug Report Tool may appear intermittently during a new driver install on AMD Ryzen™ 7000 and above series processors paired with AMD Graphics Products.
- After completing a driver upgrade on certain laptops, users may experience intermittent failures for the integrated camera to start. Users experiencing this issue are recommended to use the AMD Cleanup Utility for Windows® and use our previous recommended driver, available here.
