Les pilotes graphiques AMD Software Adrenalin Edition 25.8.1 WHQL débarquent, quoi de neuf ?
Radeon RX 9060, FSR 4 et nouveaux jeux au programme
AMD vient de publier de nouveaux pilotes graphiques, les Software Adrenalin Edition 25.8.1. Certifiés WHQL, ils accompagnent l’arrivée de la Radeon RX 9060, tout en apportant des optimisations pour les jeux récents, de nouvelles fonctionnalités FSR 4, des améliorations autour de l’API Vulkan, ainsi que des correctifs bienvenus pour la stabilité et les performances.
Ces nouveaux drivers graphiques marquent officiellement le lancement de la Radeon RX 9060, la carte RDNA 4 de milieu de gamme taillée pour le 1080p. Ils assurent aussi la compatibilité avec une série de titres très attendus, dont
- Mafia: The Old Country,
- Battlefield 6 (bêta ouverte),
- Mecha Break,
- WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers,
- The Alters,
- F1 25,
- ainsi que Valorant, qui passe à l’Unreal Engine 5.
Autre ajout est la prise en charge de FSR 4 (FidelityFX Super Resolution) qui s’étend à de nouveaux jeux, notamment Cyberpunk 2077, Lies of P, Mafia: The Old Country, Arena Breakout: Infinite, Wreckfest 2 et Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. Une avancée qui permet aux cartes Radeon de profiter d’un gain de performance et de qualité d’image sur un panel élargi de titres.
Sur le plan technique, l’API Vulkan bénéficie d’un meilleur support, tandis que la prise en charge de ROCm sur WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux) est disponible pour les cartes Radeon RX 7700 XT, avec compatibilité pour FA2 (Forward Attention 2) et les modèles IA Deepseek R1 Distilled (7B, 32B, 70B) et Qwen 2.5 7B.
Parmi les correctifs importants nous retrouvon,
- une solution à un problème de bégaiement lors de la lecture de vidéos YouTube 4K dans Chrome.
- la fin des crashs intermittents dans Monster Hunter Wilds, en particulier lors de l’utilisation combinée des technologies Radeon Anti-Lag et Instant Replay.
- la résolution des plantages dans Battlefield 2042 et Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
- et des améliorations pour Call of Duty: Warzone saison 3 (Verdansk).
Cependant, plusieurs problèmes connus persistent, notamment dans les titres
- The Last of Us Part II,
- Call of Duty: Black Ops 6,
- Wuchang: Fallen Feathers (avec FSR 4 sur les RX 9000),
- FBC Firebreak,
- NBA 2K26 ou encore Mafia: The Old Country.

Fixed Issues and Improvements
- Stutter and lower than expected performance may be observed while playing 4K resolution YouTube videos in Chrome.
- Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Monster Hunter Wilds with Radeon Anti-Lag and Instant Replay enabled.
- Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing Battlefield 2042.
- Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics products.
- Stutter improved while playing Call of Duty: Warzone Season 03 ‘Verdansk’ map on some AMD Graphics Products
- NOTE: Stutter has been reduced with 25.8.1, and AMD is working with the developer toward a full solution.
- Texture issues may be observed while using Oculus Rift S on RX 5000 and 6000 series graphics products.
Known Issues
- Corruption may appear while playing Mafia: The Old Country on Radeon RX 6600 series graphics products.
- Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing The Last of Us Part II on Radeon RX 7900 series graphics products.
- Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics products.
- Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Wuchang: Fallen Feathers with FSR 4 enabled on Radeon RX 9000 series graphics products.
- Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing FBC: Firebreak on some AMD Ryzen processors such as the Ryzen AI 300 series and the Ryzen 7000 series.
- Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing NBA 2K26 in MyCareer mode on Radeon RX 9070 series graphics products.
