AMD vient de publier de nouveaux pilotes graphiques, les Software Adrenalin 23.8.2. Certifiés WHQL ils apportent des optimisations pour le jeu Starfield.
Disponibles en téléchargement depuis quelques heures, ces drivers graphiques Adrenalin 23.8.2 WHQL s’attaquent à l’un des titres « phares » de cette année, Starfield. AMD promet une augmentation de performances en 4K avec les Radeon RX 7900 XTX et Radeon RX 7900 XT pouvant atteindre les 16% face aux précédents pilotes Adrenalin 23.8.1. En parallèle nous avons un correctif pour le titre Baldur’s Gate 3 sous DirectX 11 API à l’origine de soucis avec les Radeon RX 700.0 series.
Malheureusement tout n’est pas parfait si bien que plusieurs problèmes connus et sans solution pour le moment sont listés. Le compteur FPS (Metrics Overlay) sur divers jeux indique aucune donnée tandis que l’audio peut se désynchroniser avec la vidéo lors d’enregistrements avec le codec AV1. Enfin un problème de luminosité avec certains jeux sur certains écrans SAMSUNG FreeSync Premium Pro est possible.

Fixed Issues
- Application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Baldur’s Gate 3 with DirectX 11 API set on certain systems with Radeon RX 7000 series GPUs.
Known Issues
- Performance Metrics Overlay may report N/A for FPS on various games.
- Audio may intermittently become out of sync with video when recording from AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition with AV1 codec.
- Display may not reach correct brightness with certain games on select SAMSUNG FreeSync Premium Pro monitors or TVs with local dimming setting enabled.
Important Notes
- AMD is working with the game developers of Starfield™ to resolve an intermittent driver timeout or visual corruption issue when Dynamic Resolution is set to 75-78% with certain ultra wide monitors. Users experiencing this issue should adjust the Dynamic Resolution option as a temporary workaround.
- Factory Reset has been temporarily disabled as a precautionary measure while we address isolated installation issues that have been reported during PC upgrades. Users may use AMD Cleanup Utility as a temporary option.
