A l’occasion de la commercialisation des Radeon RX 7800 XT et 7700 XT, AMD publie de nouveaux pilotes graphiques, les Software Adrenalin 23.9.1. Ils assurent leur prise en charge mais pas seulement
Disponibles en téléchargement depuis les serveurs d’AMD, ces drivers graphiques Adrenalin 23.9.1 sont certifiés WHQL. Ils assurent la prise en charge des nouvelles Radeon RX 7800 XT et Radeon RX 7700 XT. AMD indique également le support de l’Anti-lag+ ainsi que la technologie Radeon Boost pour les titres Resident Evil 4 Remake et Ghostwire : Tokyo. En parallèle ces pilotes autorisent la combinaison « intelligente » des technologies Anti-Lag+, Boost et Radeon Super Resolution au travers de l’Hypr-RX. Il faut cependant encore patienter avant de pouvoir en profiter. AMD donne rendez-vus au premier trimestre 2024.
Pour le reste nous n’avons aucun correctif et une liste de problèmes connus. Il concerne
- le Metrics Overlay (pas d’affichage de FPS sur divers jeux),
- Une désynchronisation de l’audio et de la vidéo lors d’un enregistrement à partir du logiciel AMD avec codec AV1,
- Un souci de luminosité correcte avec certains jeux sur certains moniteurs ou téléviseurs SAMSUNG FreeSync Premium Pro,
- Un plantage intermittent dans Baldur’s Gate 3 sous l’API Vulkan,
- Un crash de l’application ou un délai d’attente du pilote avec le jeu F1 2023,
- Un plantage avec l’application Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition si Screen Space Global Illumination est activé.
Remarque : Les pilotes Adrenalin 23.9.1 ne visant pas les Radeon RX 7800 XT et 7700 XT corrigent une défaillance. AMD apporte une solution au bug à l’origine d’un message d’erreur lors de la sélection du format sonore spatial de «Dolby Atmos for home theatre».

Known Issues
- Performance Metrics Overlay may report N/A for FPS on various games.
- Audio may intermittently become out of sync with video when recording from AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition with AV1 codec.
- Display may not reach correct brightness with certain games on select SAMSUNG FreeSync Premium Pro monitors or TVs with local dimming setting enabled.
- Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing Baldur’s Gate 3™ with Vulkan API set.
- Intermittent application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing F1 2023.
- Intermittent application crash may be observed while playing Outer Worlds Spacer’s Choice Edition™ with Screen Space Global Illumination enabled.
