Microsoft a récemment publié une nouvelle mise à jour cumulative Windows 10. KB5007253 est proposée aux utilisateurs inscrits sur le canal Release Preview du programme Windows Insider.
Cette mise à jour cumulative est destinée aux PC sous Windows 10 21H2 et 21H1. Son installation permet aux systèmes d’exploitation d’évoluer en version 19044.1381 (21H2) et 19043.1381 (21H1). Ces deux numéros sont importants car ils permettent de vérifier que tout s’est correctement déroulé. Pour les trouver il suffit de lancer « Winver.exe » dans Executer (WIN+R).
Nous ne sommes pas dans le cadre d’un Patch Thesday, la sécurité n’est donc pas le focus. Elle apporte des corrections de bug. Par exemple Microsoft corrige un problème avec Windows Hello. Le géant explique
“Nous avons résolu un problème qui pouvait affecter les appareils qui utilisent Windows Hello Entreprise et qui sont joints à Azure Active Directory (AD). Ces appareils peuvent rencontrer des problèmes lorsqu’ils accèdent à des ressources locales, telles que des partages de fichiers ou des sites Web.”

A cela s’ajoute d’autres petites choses dont des correctifs visant les navigateurs Internet Explorer et Edge. La note de version précise
“Nous avons activé les événements onunload pour créer des fenêtres contextuelles en mode Microsoft Edge Internet Explorer. Nous avons résolu un problème qui affecte le pré-rendu prédictif en mode Microsoft Edge Internet Explorer. Le problème qui empêchait Internet Explorer de fonctionner a été corrigé tout comme le bug qui empêchait Internet Explorer de fonctionner lors de l’utilisation de l’éditeur de méthode d’entrée (IME) pour insérer des éléments.”
Il n’y a pas de calendrier concernant la publication de la version « grand public » de KB5007253. L’attente ne devrait pas être trop importante. Ces correctifs sont censés se déployer à l’occasion de la prochaine grande maintenance mensuelle du géant. Ils débarqueront aux cotés du contenu visant la sécurité.
A notre connaissance il n’y a pas de souci particulier autour de cette mise à jour cumulative. Les utilisateurs éligibles sont invités à la télécharger et l’installer dès que possible.
