Le Patch Tuesday du mois de mai 2023 donne naissance à KB5026361. Cette mise à jour cumulative vise les PCs sous Windows 10 21H2 ou 21H2.

Etant dans le cadre d’un Patch Tuesday le focus est la sécurité. Microsoft corrige 19 vulnérabilités dans Windows 10 21H2 dont 15 sont importantes et 4 sont jugées critiques. Elles touchent protocole SSTP (Secure Socket Tunneling Protocol) (CVE-2023-24903), Windows OLE (CVE-2023-29325), Pragmatic General Multicast (PGM) (CVE-2023-24943) et le protocole LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) (CVE-2023-28283). De son côté Windows 10 22H2 est aussi concerné par 19 vulnérabilités dont 4 sont jugées critiques. Il s’agit des mêmes failles que celles rencontrées dans Windows 10 21H2.

KB5026361 corrige également un souci avec LAPS (Local Administrator Password Solution) Windows. Le service LSASS (Local Security Authority Subsystem Service) peut cesser de répondre. Pour le reste elle propose l’ensemble du contenu de la mise à jour Preview publiée le 25 avril 2023.

Elle permet de synchroniser les paramètres de langue et de région lorsque vous modifiez la langue d’affichage ou le format régional de votre compte Microsoft. Nous avons la résolution de deux problèmes qui affectent le mode IE de Microsoft Edge (Les fenêtres contextuelles s’ouvrent en arrière-plan plutôt qu’au premier plan et le Gestionnaire de fenêtre à onglets cesse de répondre). Elle modifie les icônes d’application pour certains fournisseurs de services mobiles et corrige un problème qui affecte la méthode d’entrée chinoise. Microsoft précise

Cette mise à jour affecte les utilisateurs Xbox Elite qui disposent de la manette Xbox Adaptive Controller. Cette mise à jour applique vos préférences de remappage de contrôleur sur le bureau. Cette mise à jour corrige un problème susceptible d’affecter les actualités et les centres d’intérêt. Il peut scintiller dans la barre des tâches et l’Explorateur de fichiers peut cesser de répondre.
