Windows 10 v1709, KB4103714 se déploie, quoi de neuf ?

Microsoft vient de publier une nouvelle mise à jour cumulative pour Windows 10 Fall Creators Update alias Windows 10 v1709. Son objectif est de résoudre pas mal de problèmes. Bilan.

L’installation de KB4103714 permet au système d’exploitation d’évoluer en version 16299.461. La note de version dresse une liste assez conséquente de correction de bug.

Les équipes de développement tentent d’apporter des solutions à des problèmes dont certains concernent les navigateurs Internet Explorer et Microsoft Edge. A ce sujet Microsoft indique avoir résolu un souci lié à l’audio pour Edge ou une application utilisant son moteur. De son côté Internet Explorer est censé fonctionner sur une configuration à double écran.

Des améliorations sont apportées au Bluetooth si bien que toute devrait fonctionner correctement après un redémarrage.  De son côté Windows Authentication Manager ne devrait plus rencontrer de problèmes d’authentification « sporadiques ». L’un des plus important correctif touche à problème provoquant une utilisation élevée du processeur dans certaines conditions.

Windows 10 v1709 et KB4103714, pas de problème connu

L’une des bonnes nouvelles et que KB4103714 s’accompagne d’aucun problème connu et non corrigé. Malheureusement cela n’indique pas que son installation ne provoquera pas de problème. Pour s’en assurer, de la patience est nécessaire.

Cette mise à jour est en cour de déploiement via Windows Update pour les PC exploitant Windows 10 Fall Creators Update. Il est également possible de procéder à son téléchargement manuellement. Il suffit de se rendre sur « Microsoft’s Update Catalog ».

Le prochain grand rendez-vous concernant la maintenance de l’écosystème logiciel de Microsoft est prévu le 12 juin prochain. Il s’agirait du Patch Tuesday.
