Dell a publié la liste de ses ordinateurs entièrement compatibles avec la dernière version de Windows 10. Nous parlons de la mise à jour de mai 2020 de Windows 10. Elle est disponible depuis quelques jours mais demande une intervention manuelle. En clair le déploiement automatique n’a pas encore débuté.
Pour revenir à Dell, la liste publiée comprend la majorité des ordinateurs de nouvelle génération. Nous retrouvons des modèles de la série Inspiron, XPS, Optiplex, Alienware et Latitude. Vous trouverez tous les détails en fin d’article. Vous pourrez ainsi vérifier si votre ordinateur peut accueillir en toute sécurité Windows 10 v2004.
Dell précise toutefois
“Si le modèle de votre appareil n’est pas répertorié dans les tableaux ci-dessous, cela signifie que Dell ne teste pas cet appareil et que les pilotes ne seront pas mis à jour pour ce dernier. Si votre appareil est livré avec une version de Windows 10, les pilotes sont disponibles pour cette version et les tests ne sont pas nécessaires. Si vous souhaitez procéder à la mise à niveau ou à la mise à jour d’un système non testé, consultez le site Web Aide de Windows de Microsoft. Il se peut que Microsoft fournisse des pilotes génériques pour le matériel dans le cadre de Windows 10, mais certaines fonctions et fonctionnalités peuvent être perdues.”

Windows 10 v2004 est actuellement disponible que pour certains appareils sous Windows 10 v1903 ou v1909. Le téléchargement de ses fichiers et son installation est de plus pas automatique. Il est nécessaire d’intervenir manuellement dans Windows Update pour déclencher la procédure. Cela passe par une recherche de mise à jour. Si la mise à jour ne s’affiche pas, cela signifie qu’un souci de compatibilité a été détecté par Microsoft.
Le déploiement se fait par étapes. Cela signifie que le nombre de PC éligibles augmente au fur et à mesure que les problèmes potentiels sont résolus.

J’hallucine, y a juste les numéros de version qui change non pour Windows 10? Tu achètes un pc à 1000 euros et il ne serait pas compatible ? C’est Windows ou non ? Je pige pas….que les constructeurs mettent à jour leurs parcs de pilote point barre.
